Abstract:Analytical self-similar solutions to two-, three-, and four-equation Reynolds-averaged mechanical–scalar turbulence models describing turbulent Rayleigh–Taylor mixing driven by a temporal power-law acceleration are derived in the small Atwood number (Boussinesq) limit.
