Self‐Synthesized POM‐Chitosan Material with Enzyme Mimetic Activities for Antioxidant Applications

Abstract:An organic-POMs nanoparticle of PMo 9 V 3 /CS was successfully synthesized from chitosan (CS) and H 6 PMo 9 V 3 O 40 (PMo 9 V 3 ) by immobilized method. After characterization, PMo 9 V 3 /CS hybrids were determined to possess dual enzyme properties similar to peroxidase and oxidase (KO 3 ). PMo 9 V 3 /CS exhibited good kinetic activity towards H 2 O 2 and could catalyze the decomposition of H 2 O 2 to generate * OH and reactive oxygen species respectively.
