“…Our slender newspaper results stand in stark contrast to the extensive recent deliberations on BECCS in research and policy circles, including the recent policy proposals to deploy BECCS to achieve the UK net-zero target, raising concern that the BECCS policy debate may be accelerating away from public understanding or acceptance.
