Semaglutide for weight loss in people with obesity as an adjunctive treatment for hidradenitis suppurativa: its impact on disease control and quality of life

Abstract: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) has a significant impact on quality of life and mortality. We report the use of semaglutide and its impact on disease control and quality of life in 30 obese patients in a HS specialty clinic. This retrospective data suggests that the addition of semaglutide to standard HS therapies results in improvement in quality of life and less flares of HS.
