Semiactive dynamic model of the rail track–vehicle system to reduce the vertical contact force interaction using magnetorheological dampers

Abstract: In the current research, a semiactive suspension system is presented as a railway vehicle to investigate the rail track–vehicle interaction using magnetorheological dampers. For this purpose, a dynamic model of a railway vehicle is introduced, based on the integrated magnetorheological dampers, to reduce the vertical interaction of the rail track and the vehicle system.
