Abstract:The prevalence of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is increasing worldwide mainly due to poor oral hygiene and unrestricted lifestyle. Advanced‐stage OSCC is associated with poor prognosis and a 5‐year survival rate of only 30%–50%.
