Sense of Community Responsibilty (SOCR) dan Respon Cepat Pengajian Annisa dalam menangani dampak Covid-19

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic increasedpoverty rates. It is estimated that there will be an additional 3.78 poor people in Indonesia as a result of COVID-19. The problem of poverty due to COVID-19 also occurred in the Griyo Wage Asri I Housing (GWA I) Sidoarjo, of where the PengajianAnnisa (AnnisaRecitation) is located. From the data collection on the condition of residents conducted by the GWA I Rukun Warga (Sub Village) , it is known that there is one family who has not even eaten for three days because of the inability to buy food. When they found out about this, the administrators of PengajianAnnisa quickly provided comfort. This study aims to reveal the factors encouraging the administrators of Pengajian Annisa to provide comfort quickly. What programs and strategies they are using to raise aid. To answer this question, the author conducted a text analysis of 254 WhatsApp (WA) messages sent by recitation administrators to their WA group. This study shows that a sense of community responsibility (SOCR) is a driving factor for the quickness of Pengajian Annisa administrators in providing comfort. They managed to raise funds from the members by sending heartfelt WA messages, evoking SOCR. This study confirms previous studies that SOCR is closely related to the generosity of a person or organization in fostering the community welfare improvement.
