“…This structure could be prepared either by in situ hydrolysis of succinylsalicylic acid or by adding succinic and salicylic acids in the reaction mixture; different times and temperatures of synthesis were rigorously probed to get the desired pure phase. Changing these variables, the reaction can be driven to a 2D hybrid structure in which both acids act as ligands in the coordination sphere of the Ho 3+ .
