Sensitivity Analysis of Wave Propagation in a Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube

Abstract: Literal expressions of the parameters characterizing the common mode wave propagation in a single-walled carbon nanotube are presented. The sensitivity functions of the line parameters with respect to the frequency and the distributed line constants are represented in analytical form. The "electrically short" nano transmission line is described by a very simple simulation model. Frequency spectra of the line parameters and their sensitivity functions are shown in the range up to 10 GHz.
