Abstract: Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most prevalent human pathogens causing a wide range of bacterial infections. Since the introduction of methicillin as a treatment option, the emergence and subsequent spread of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains has become a global concern.
