“…Toxicity tests of a suite of neonicotinoids to the Ramshorn snail (Planorbella pilsbryi) showed 7-day LC50s of ≥ 4000 μg/L for imidacloprid, clothianidin, and thiamethoxam, respectively, whereas the 28-day LC50s were ≥ 182 μg/L for all three insecticides. However, growth and biomass are more sensitive endpoints than mortality for this species, with EC50s ranging from 33.2 to 122.0 μg/L (Prosser et al 2016).
