Sensitization of renal transplant candidates by cryopreserved cadaveric venous or arterial allografts1

Abstract: Recipients of cadaveric venous or arterial allografts elicit an HLA antibody response attesting to the antigenicity of cryopreserved cadaveric allografts.

Artificial dialysis membranes and vascular access might potentially contribute to increased sensitization in transplant candidates (45).
