Abstract:A series of various carbamate derivatives were synthesized using essential oils of various plants and cyclohexyl or phenyl isocyanate under solvent-free conditions. Carvacrol, Thymol and Eugenol were chosen for synthesis that exist in Satureja bachtiarica Bunge, Satureja hortensis L., Trachyspermum ammi and Caryophyllus aromaticus, respectively.
