Abstract:Septo-optic dysplasia (SOD or De Morsier Syndrome) is a rare congenital malformation of the brain which is only occasionally detected in utero. It is usually suspected by the absence of the cavum septum pellucidum (CSP). We report the pre-natal ultrasound and MRI findings in one suspected case and discuss the associated diagnostic dilemmas.
