Abstract:A total of 364 head sheep were examine from fourteen region in Al- Diwaniyah province 224 positive to infestation and larvae were collected and sent to the laboratory of veterinary medicine, from October 2021 to March 2022 for both sexes. The rate of Oestrus ovis infestation in sheep in the study areas was 61.53%. Al-Dighara abattoir had the highest infestation rate (82.75%) and Al-Salahia had the lowest infestation rate (17.64%).
