Sequence Stratigraphic Model and Geology/Reservoir "Flow Unit" Study Improve Profitability and Recover Additional Reserves at the Sharon Ridge Canyon Unit

Abstract: The creation of a sequence stratigraphic geologic model of the Sharon Ridge Canyon Unit (SRCU) has significantly improved reservoir description in this highly stratified carbonate reservoir. The enhanced vision of geologically continuous sequences is dramatically better than that provided by traditional 2-dimensional (2D) lithostratigraphic (log cross section) correlations.
