Sequencing and analysis of the complete mitochondrial genome of Datnioides campbelli (Datnioididae)

Abstract: In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of the New Guinea tiger fish Datnioides campbelli (Whitley 1938) (Lobotiformes: Datnioididae) was sequenced by next-generation sequencing method. The assembled mitochondrial genome consists of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, and two ribosomal RNA genes, with a length of 16,416 bp.
