Abstract:In this paper we study the effect of the FBMC intrinsic interference on the error rate performance in the presence of a phase error. We focus our study on the symbol error rate (SER) performance in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel, and we derive the SER performance expressions for any 2 m -PAM (pulse amplitude modulation) data mapping and a phase error φ.
