Abstract: Polygonum cuspidatum is a traditional medicinal plant enriched with resveratrol and polydatin. However, low temperatures reduce the medicinal component contents of P. cuspidatum, and prolonged low temperatures also affect the growth and survival of P. cuspidatum at the seedling stage.
