Abstract: Plasma-activated saline (PAS) holds immense potential for diverse applications, including antimicrobial activity, anti-inflammatory effects, and cancer therapy. This study introduces a novel approach utilizing a serially associated hybrid plasma discharge (HPD) system, which combines dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) with a gliding arc plasma jet (GAPJ), to enhance the production of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) in saline water.
