“…Thus the susceptibility rate in our study population was 7.9%, which was higher to that reported recently for Turkey [11], [17]- [22], Nigeria [23], [24], Brazil [25], Iran [26], [27], Bangladesh [28], Korea [29], and Cuba [30]. However, our study susceptibility was lower than that reported for France [31], Nepal [32], India [13], [33], [34], Switzerland [35], Croatia [36], Malaysia [37], Iran [12], [38], Poland [39], Ireland [10], Russia [40], Taiwan [41], Germany [42], Azerbaijan [43], Bangladesh [44], and Brazil [45]. In comparison to Arab countries, this study susceptibility rate was lower to that reported for Egypt [46], Sudan [47], Syria [48], and Jordan [15], but similar to that reported for Saudi Arabia [49], and higher to rate in Qatar [50], Sudan [51], and Tunisia [52].…”

“…[15][16][17][18][19] The prevalence in this study is 15.19%, which is in accordance to a study done by Malarvizhi et al 20 The seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis in study group was 24.50% , a little higher than studies done on women with BOH by other authors. 21,22 In this study, a statistically significant higher (24.50%) prevalence of seropositive cases were seen in study group as compared to women in control group (5.88%). This finding is in accordance with studies conducted by Sentahmarai S et al (13.09% vs 8%), Ebadi et al (17.5% vs 14%), and Suryamani et al 23 (45% vs 8.33%).…”

“…They reported that the high titer of IgM-CMV and IgG-CMV plays the most important role in recurrent pregnancy loss (17). In another study, Ebadi et al (2011) in Jahrom reported the significant association of prevalence of Rubella with recurrent spontaneous abortion (5). Therefore, our study is compatible with these studies.…”
