Serotonin Syndrome in ICU—A Road Less Traveled

Abstract: A potentially life-threatening adverse drug reaction, serotonin syndrome (SS) may occur in patients on serotonin agonist medications. Medications responsible for SS include commonly prescribed antidepressants, anxiolytics, analgesics and antiemetics.
