Abstract: Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is a powerful Raman technique that provides high selectivity and sensitivity in analyzing the intermolecular interaction of a target compound adsorbed on the surface of a noble nanomaterial, i.e., silver, gold, or copper. Although copper presents a better SERS enhancement than gold and silver, its oxidation in the air is much easier than that of gold and silver.
