Serum neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin and lactate level during surgery predict acute kidney injury and early allograft dysfunction after liver transplantation

Abstract: Early allograft dysfunction (EAD) and acute kidney injury (AKI) are common and clinically important complications after liver transplantation. Serum lactate level at the end of surgery could predict EAD and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) is known as a biomarker for AKI after liver transplantation.
