“…What repercussions do cervical manipulation strategies have? Alvares, Cruz, Romano, and Brandão () confirmed that the Guelph TCAI system does not induce an inflammatory reaction that could compromise the pregnancy. However, repeated attempts to pass the narrow cervical canal (TCAI) with adapted catheters can damage the delicate areas of the cervix, whose cranial segment (3–4 cm) would be very sensitive to manipulations (Álvarez, Chamorro, et al., ).…”

“…IL-10 is an important anti-inflammatory cytokine in body. The inflammatory reaction caused by surgery trauma will compensatorily increase the secretion of IL-10 [16]. It was found by analyzing the contents of the above inflammatory mediators in patients of the two groups that the contents of IL-1β, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8 and IL-10 in serum of patients in the LS group were significantly lower than those of the laparotomy group, which indicated that the inflammatory reaction and the surgery trauma have a quite slight degree after treated with laparoscopic surgery for acute gastric perforation.…”

“…Second, because the time required is relatively long and the penetration success is also variable (2.0-5.2 min; 9.6-66.7%; Casali et al, 2017), which compromises its commercial application and impairs the AI technique, reducing AI fertility rates. Finally, although cervical penetration does not induce an inflammatory response (Alvares et al, 2016), repeated attempts to cross the narrow canal can cause epithelial damage in the most sensitive areas of the cervix (Alvarez et al, 2019).…”
