“…The infusion rate of thiopentone (0.3 mg.kg-'.min-') was rather high, but almost the same as that used in the absence of other adjuvants [ l , 251. However, in one previous study this infusion rate resulted in accumulation in one of 38 cases [26] and could also account for the slow recovery after thiopentone in the present study. Three patients in the thiopentone group did not know their date of birth until approximately 2 h after the end of anaesthesia.…”
