Servant by default? How humans perceive their relationship with conversational AI

Abstract: Conversational AI, like Amazon’s Alexa, are often marketed as tools assisting owners, but humans anthropomorphize computers, suggesting that they bond with their devices beyond an owner-tool relationship.
