Severe Cysticercal Meningitis: Clinical and Imaging Characteristics

Abstract: Abstract. In disease-endemic areas, severe cysticercal meningitis (SCM) is characterized by intense inflammatory cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and negative bacterial and fungal cultures.
