Abstract: Background: Severe kyphosis in advanced age, with a higher incidence observed in women and in elderly males afflicted with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) can pose a significant risk to their overall well-being and potentially endanger their lives.
