biperiden treatment. Our patient did not have any psychiatric diagnosis other than depression, nor did she have any physical disease that would predispose her to acute dystonia. Her neurologic investigations and examinations were normal, and she scored 7 points on the Naranjo Adverse Drug Reaction Probability Scale, which strongly supported the dystonia picture. To the best of our knowledge, this is the third case of dystonic reaction related to sertraline treatment in the pediatric age group.Although SSRIs is quite safe in terms of EPS adverse effects, we report that this possibility should always be in the minds of physicians and close follow-up is important.
