Abstract:This study examines the severe weather event on 3 March 2015 in Msalala District, where surface convergence and enhanced atmospheric instability played a crucial role in storm development. Evaluation of numerical weather models revealed variations in accuracy, with the Global Forecast System (GFS) model performing better at predicting observed conditions than other models.
