“…For instance, a study conducted by Ibem and Amole (2011) and Joseph et al (2021) indicated the inadequate provision of FM services such as water supply, electricity, refuse collection and disposals, poor sewage collection and disposal services, insufficient transport services/bus shuttles, poor helpdesks services, inadequate information and communication services and insecurity in many of the social housing. Similarly, there exist issues of poor streetlights and road network maintenance (Orewere et al , 2020), poor maintenance of facilities (Ogunbayo et al , 2022), insufficient open space and management of green space and landscape (Ukpong et al , 2023) in the social housing.
