Sharpless Aminohydroxylation

Abstract: Several protocols have been reported for an osmium‐based enantiomeric transformation of olefins into corresponding α‐amino alcohols with nitrogen bound to a less‐substituted carbon using tert ‐alkyl imido osmium compound as the nitrogen source.
