Shell Model Study of Nuclei around Mass 100

Abstract

Nuclear structure of Pd and Ru isotopes is theoretically studied in terms of the shell model with the multipole-pairing plus quadrupole-quadrupole effective interaction. The experimental energy levels of low-lying states are well reproduced. The shell model results are examined in detail by the method of quantum-number projected generator coordinates.
