Bower (1963) has devised a suction apparatus which reduces the pressure over the bath so that excess fluid can be easily removed from the patient. Repeated dialysis facilitates the management of the patient in the postoperative period, especially when cadaveric transplants are used and initial function cannot be expected.…”
