Short-Chain Glycoceramides Promote Intracellular Mitoxantrone Delivery from Novel Nanoliposomes into Breast Cancer Cells

Abstract: Nanoliposomal encapsulation improves intratumoral MTO delivery over free drug. Liposome bilayer-incorporated SCS preferentially permeabilize tumor cell membranes enhancing intracellular MTO delivery.
