Abstract:Hyperlipidemia is a condition which comprises several acquired and genetic disorders that cause elevated lipid levels in the body. The elevated lipids may further lead to various health complications such as arteriosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular and peripheral vascular diseases.
