Abstract:The extensive use of systemic neonicotinoid insecticides in agriculture is a significant factor contributing to pollution in aquatic systems. Currently, there is no comprehensive data available on the effects of imidacloprid and other neonicotinoids on fish (Clarias gariepinus) biochemical and behavioral parameters.
