Sickle cell avascular necrosis: Prevalence and clinical profiles in a tertiary hospital northwestern Nigeria

Abstract: Acute painful crises are the hallmark of Sickle Cell Anaemia (SCA). However, chronic daily pain also occurs in SCA patients with a high frequency.
