Signal-On Near-Infrared Photoelectrochemical Aptasensors for Sensing VEGF165 Based on Ionic Liquid-Functionalized Nd-MOF Nanorods and In-Site Formation of Gold Nanoparticles

Abstract: The low photon energy and deep penetrating ability of near-infrared (NIR) light make it an ideal light source for a photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunosensing system. Absorption wavelengths of the metal−organic frameworks (MOFs) can be regulated by adjusting the metal ions and the conjugation degree of the ligands. Herein, an ionic liquid with a large conjugated structure was synthesized and was used as a ligand to coordinate with Nd ions to prepare Nd-MOF nanorods with a band gap of 1.26 eV. The Nd-MOF rods sho… Show more

“…IL/MOF composites have been attracting considerable interest for their various applications, including in adsorption separation, ionic conduction, heterogeneous catalysis, electrocatalysis, electrochemistry sensing, photoelectrochemical response, , flame retardants, and functional material synthesis. , IL/MOF composites not only exhibit the properties of both the ILs and the MOFs but also present unique and synergistic functionalities. Meanwhile, a large number of possible combinations between ILs and MOFs can be achieved to tailor the physicochemical properties of new IL/MOF composites. Besides, the rational design and proper functionalization of both ILs and MOFs are effective ways to perform excellent adsorptive separation.…”
