Abstract:Background: The most typical solid benign uterine tumors are called uterine leiomyomas. The most prevalent gynecologic malignancy worldwide is endometrial cancer. It is mandatory to search for new markers that could facilitate early diagnosis and prognosis of endometrial cancer biopsy specimens; among these are Glut-1, and progesteron receptor (PR). Aim: To investigate if there is relation between uterine leiomyoma and the associated benign or malignant endometrial lesions.
