“…This higher rate constant reveals that the catalytic reduction of 4‐NP is more feasible with a higher concentration of Pd/C‐dots. In comparison with those obtained by nanomaterial‐based catalysts, the as‐prepared Pd/C‐dots were found to show better catalytic efficiency (Table S2, Supporting Information) . The mechanism for the reduction of 4‐NP by Pd/C‐dots is shown in Scheme .…”

“…The results show that AC-1-Ag NCs has better catalytic activity. The Schottky barrier existing at the interfaces of the noble metal and the semiconductor enhances the collection efficiency of carriers, but more importantly Ag nanocrystals on the surfaces and internal Au cores of AC-1-Ag NCs jointly facilitate the charge transfer from BH 4 − to MO [65]. The synergistic effects of AC-1-Ag NCs and NaBH 4 greatly promoted the catalytic efficiency of AC-1-Ag NCs.…”

“…As shown in Fig. 3d, the absorption peak at 1550 cm À1 is attributed to the anti-symmetric stretching of pyrrole ring due to the stretching vibration of the C]C bond; the absorption peaks observed at 1400 and 1043 cm À1 correspond to the N-H and C-H deformation vibrations; and the peak at 1217 cm À1 is derived from C-N + stretching, 46,47 moreover 940 cm À1 and 790 cm À1 are the C-C bond vibration and the outof-plane vibration of C-H bond, 41 respectively.…”
