Abstract:Based on COMSOL Multiphysics, a two-dimensional model of the duodenum of the small intestine was established and simulated to obtain the flow rate of the duodenum under different chyme viscosity and different boundary loads. The results show that: when other conditions remain the same, the outlet flow rate decreases with the increase of the chyme viscosity with significant differences; the outlet flow rate increases with the increase of the boundary loads, and the flow rate only changes significantly when the … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
