To evaluate the effect of underwater intense sound pulse on sonar receiving system, the response characteristics of acoustic transducer in intense sound pulse is studied. The admittance-frequency characteristic of typical transducer is measured with an impedance analyzer, and a lumped parameter equivalent circuit model of typical transducer is established based on admittance circle diagram method. With this circuit model and software MultiSim, the response characteristic is analyzed in a circuit model simulation method, and the simulation shows that an oscillation stimulated by intense sound pulse appears in the equivalent circuit. Then water tank verification experiment is carried out with underwater plasma sound source. In the experiment, an intense sound pulse leads the transducer to an excited oscillation about 40ms, which coincides well with the simulation results and validates the correction of equivalent circuit model. Analysis indicates that intense sound pulse has an apparent jamming effect on acoustic transducer, and brings sonar receiving system into a blinding status.
