“…To our knowledge this is the largest multicycle THz energy ever generated and the corresponding peak power is around 50 times larger than previous demonstrations 25 . The simplicity and scalability of the scheme could be attractive for THz waveform synthesis 21 and to power next-generation THz-based particle accelerators 6,7 and diagnostics 8 .
