Simulation of bar rolling: Experience at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University

Abstract: The evolution in methodological approaches to the analysis of bar rolling at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University is discussed. The basic principles of the models developed with changes in rolling technology, groove configurations, and the requirements on hot rolling mills are outlined.
