The paper deals with the problem of future biology teachers' vocational preparation process and shaping in them of those capacities that contribute to the conservation and enhancement of our planet's biodiversity as a reflection of the leading sustainable development goals of society. Such personality traits are viewed through the prism of forming the future biology teachers' professional and terminological competence. The main aspects and categories that characterize the professional and terminological competence of future biology teachers, including terminology, nomenclature, term, nomen and term element, have been explained. The criteria and stages of shaping the future biology teachers' professional and terminological competence during the vocational training process have been fixed. Methods, techniques, technologies, guiding principles and forms of staged work on the forming of an active terminological dictionary of students have been described and specified. The content of the distant special course "Latin. Botanical Terminology", which provides training for future teachers to study the professional subjects and to understand of international scientific terminology, has been presented. It is concluded that the proper level of formation of the future biology teachers' professional and terminological competence will eventually ensure the qualitative preparation of pupils for life in a sustainable development era.

Most national companies are seeking to reduce costs, improve technological processes and increase profitability. The steel industry is no exception - an example of cost reduction is a technology of sorbitized wire rod production. This technology can improve the performance characteristics of wore rod and reduce the number of patenting stages during metalware production. The developed technology has been tested in the CIS countries Stelmor lines, and its task is to eliminate the significant disadvantages of these lines: the absence of differential cooling on the conveyor width, insufficient cooling rate of air cooling sections, the lack of frequency regulated speed control for electric motors. Eliminating these disadvantages and developing new cooling modes using the software, based on the original mathematical model, allows for the production of sorbitized wire rod with high performance characteristics, provided with increased level of pearlite dispersion (1-2 points for at least 85% of area). Each intense and retarded cooling section has to be fitted with adjustable flaps controlled by electric motors, ensuring the alignment rod temperature at the roller conveyor width. Before the start of the reconstruction of the cooling line a detailed technical and technological audit is required to identify and eliminate the causes that lead to uncontrolled temperature deviations or wire rod laying deviations on the cooling conveyor.

Nowadays, the technology of shape-rolled steel production defines the quality and strength of common purpose and critical building structures. To provide for all the necessary mechanical characteristics, it is necessary to pay attention to each phase of steel production: melting, casting, reheating, rolling and cooling. Often, due to poor production equipment and lack of appropriate technologies steel alloying is applied. This deteriorates steel weldability and significantly increases the cost of the rolled product. The article reviews the final stage properties formation – water quenching stage after the rolling mill. Now, at mill 450 of OJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) vanadium is used for microalloying during the production from 09G2S steel, which provides for the specified technical properties of steel. The developed quenching technology provides for a possibility to decrease the level of microalloying. The following mathematical simulation was carried-out: steel section cooling down during quenching; heat treatment of section steel using DEFORM 3D + Heat Treatment software and further physical simulation to define convective heat transfer temperature coefficients, find tendencies to hardening and dynamics analysis which made it possible to develop a three section module located after dividing shears consisting of 176 nozzles (44 nozzle blocks). As for the proposed design of water cooling line, regimes which provides strength classes 345, 390 and 440 MPa are developed for L-steel with sizes from 40x40x4 to 125x125x16 mm, channel steel from 50 to 180 mm web length and strip (of equivalent thickness).
