Simultaneous estimation of boundary conditions and material model parameters

Abstract: Room temperature experimental compression test data is available for dierent hardmetals. This data indicates the presence of some spatial inhomogeneity due to a compression instability, eccentric loading or time varying equivalent bending moment.
