“…Na2FeO3 is an effective water-purifying agent that demonstrates superior performance for ferrate(VI) [1], and Dong pointed out that the reaction rate constants of iron intermediates such as Fe(IV) and Fe(V) are significantly higher than those of Fe(VI), resulting in a rapid reduction of pollutants [2], Pan pointed out that in the presence of FeVIO4 2in solution, the g-C3N4-visible light system generated high-valent iron-oxo intermediates (FeV/FeIV) as the oxidizing species, causing increased oxidation of micropollutants [3]. However, the traditional synthetic method for preparing FeO3 2involves complex conditions, McBeath et al employed a high-oxygen-overpotential electrode to generate reactive oxygen species that react with iron salts to form ferrate(IV) [1];Harrison studied the reaction between alkali metal ferrate(III) and an alkali metal compound (which may or may not be the same as that present in alkali metal ferrate(III)) at temperatures between 300°C and 500°C in the presence of oxygen [4]; Kopelev synthesized a solid sample in the Na-Fe-O system by heating Na2O2 and Fe2O3 at 370℃ in the presence of oxygen, which was identified as Na2FeO3 [5]; Martinez-Tamayo prepared Fe(IV) compounds by mixing FeSO4 and BaO2, The mixture was heated to 1400°C in a nitrogen environment, cooled, and ground.…”

“…Although algae utilize carbon dioxide as their primary substrate for photosynthesis, initiating the flow of energy into living organisms and playing a crucial role in the global carbon cycle, they produce a wide array of secondary metabolites, including toxins and volatile compounds [4]. These secondary metabolites not only affect the quality of drinking water and aquatic products, but also further endanger human health and the ecological environment [5]. Meanwhile, algae also produce unpleasant tastes and odors and clog filters, further damaging water treatment systems and reducing the quality of drinking water [6].…”
