Simultaneous measurements of ion and electron currents using a novel compact electrostatic end-loss-current detector

Abstract: For the purpose of end-loss-ion and -electron analyses in open-field plasmas, a compact-sized electrostatic end-loss-current detector is proposed on the basis of a self-collection principle for suppressing the effects of secondary-electron emission from a metal collector.
