Simultaneous Mineralization and Deposition of Inorganic Nanoparticles Onto Micropatterns with a Perfluoropolyether-Decorated Surface as a Passivating Layer
Abstract:We achieved simultaneous mineralization and patterning of inorganic nanoparticles on micropatterns using peptide as a linker and perfluoropolyether (PFPE) as a passivating molecule. The peptide was used as a linker molecule immobilizing inorganic nanoparticles on the substrate and PFPE was exploited as a mask material preventing nanoparticle binding. These two substances were used as surface-modifying molecules for the positive and negative patterns, respectively. On the patterned surface, mineralization and s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
